The Pass Plus

The Pass plus is available to anyone who has passed there driving test within the last year and wishes to improve their driving skills.

Why do it?

A lot of people are under the impression that passing their driving test makes them a good driver and that they now know it all. Passing your test means that you have reached an adequate standard to be allowed to drive unsupervised. Anyone who has been driving for a long time will tell you that it is only now that you really start learning to drive.

What will I gain from it?

The Pass plus is designed, intended and proven to reduce the amount of accidents involving young and newly qualified drivers. Your training lasts for a minimum of 6 hours and will cover all aspects of driving, some which might not have been covered while learning to drive. For example it is illegal for learner drivers to drive on motorways or you might have learnt to drive in the summer so you may not of had the chance to drive at night.

You will have expert tuition on how to drive on:

  • Motorways and dual carriage ways,
  • Country lanes and urban roads,
  • How to drive safely at night and in bad weather.

Are there any other benefits?

The Pass plus gives you an excellent opportunity to improve on any areas of your driving that the examiner recommended that might need more attention, as well as learning new skills. Of course the biggest incentive to do your Pass plus is the discount of up to 30% on your insurance by some of the larger insurance companies. Also as all of your training is done with your instructor you will not have to go through the stress of another test.
